Product Description
The Submerged Arc Furnace for phosphorus production is a particular subtype of electric arc furnace which is used to produce phosphorus and other products. It is mainly used for the production of ferroalloys. This works with electrical energy which is converted into heat, mainly using the electrical resistance of the burden or molten slag. The electrodes are submerged in the melt, creating the necessary area for the exchange of energy between the electrode and melt.
